NP/PA Observation

Mary Washington Healthcare – ranked #2 in the DC area by U.S. News & World Report – has excellent opportunities for experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) in our Advance Practice Provider Lead Model Observation Unit.  Working under the supervision of the Emergency Department Physicians, who serve as Medical Directors, you will work 7 days on/7 days off and shifts are 7A – 7P, 7P – 7A and 3P – 3A. 

Magnet-designated Mary Washington Hospital is the only Level II Trauma Center in the region and our 50 bed, full-service, state-of-the-art Emergency Department is prepared with physicians, nurses, and the technology to handle the most serious injuries.  In addition to treating common injuries and illnesses, we offer highly specialized and coordinated care to our patients through treatment programs such as:

Primary Stroke Center
Cardiac Hypothermia Program
Chest Pain Observation Center
