ELIGIBILITY
All full-time, part-time and PRN Associates currently employed by Mary Washington Healthcare are eligible to receive a referral award for each successful hire who meets the criteria of the program. All Directors, Managers and Human Resources Recruitment staff members are ineligible to receive a reward. 

Referrals must match qualifications and experience level for the posted position. Those considered to be ineligible as referred applicants include the following:

• Current MWHC Associates

• Previous Associates who were employed within the last 12 months

• Temporary staff, contractors, students, volunteers, interns and residents who are hired into permanent positions

• Hire of a candidate for which a recruiting fee was paid

• PRN candidates


REFERRAL PROCESS AND PROCEDURES:

1.  Referring Mary Washington Healthcare Associates will receive payouts for positions that are in high demand and critical to fill as follows:

     a.  $5,000 for full-time experienced Registered Nurses (in OR, ED, Critical Care, and L&D); or experienced and new graduate CRNAs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and Mammography Techs

     b.  $3,000 for full-time experienced inpatient and Hospice RNs (other than those specialties listed above); or experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Med Techs, Medical Lab Techs, Respiratory Therapists, OR Techs, and Paramedics; and part-time CRNAs and RNs (in OR, ED, Critical Care, and L&D)

     c.  $1,500 for Staffing Office RNs, and the following part-time positions: inpatient RNs, Hospice RNs, PTs, OTs, MTs, MLTs, RRTs, and OR Techs

    d.  $500 for full-time CNAs and $250 for part-time CNAs

2.  Eligible Mary Washington Healthcare referring Associate must be named as “source” by the referred candidate on the MWHC application for employment completed during the January 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020, time frame. Only one Associate name can be listed as the source.

3.  All candidates must complete an application with MWHC between January 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020.

4.  To receive a referral award, the referring Associate must be in good standing at MWHC for 90 days prior to the award disbursement.

5.  The new hire must successfully complete 90 days of satisfactory, uninterrupted employment and be in good standing as a Mary Washington Healthcare Associate.

6.  Both the Associate and the referral must be employed at MWHC at the time of the award disbursement.

7.  Mary Washington Healthcare reserves the right to amend or cancel this program.
